[Part of him wants to flinch away at "rough around the edges" -- yeah, he isn't perfect, and he never will be, no one could ever possibly mistake him as someone even at the foot of perfection -- but everything else has a shy smile creeping into place. He leans in again, holding their joined hands between them, against his strongly beating heart, and kisses Akechi again.]

[He pulls Mav close with the arm still around his shoulder and grins. His face is still pink, but it's clearly from genuine joy.]

I'll need to start looking for something nice to wear, then.

[Thank god Akechi is just as happy about this, because Mav can't really handle how embarrassing this would be otherwise. He's pink from both joy and bashfulness...but it's reassuring to not have to worry. He's worried about so many other things with Akechi this last week, it's nice to let himself sink in close.]

Mmn.

[Him, too...but that's a concern for another day. Future Mav's problem. Present Mav's problem is how many buttons he has to fumble apart on Akechi's shirt.]

[It is nice to let himself just think about normal teenager things, like what he's going to wear to the school dance, and how quickly he can get his boyfriend's shirt off. His own should be loose enough to pull over his head after three buttons, it's not one of the tailored ones he wears on school days.]

[Big fan of getting both of them shirtless, and he's more than happy to help in that endeavor however he can, even if it means pulling away. He'll need to in order to get other things anyway, so he might as well get used to it...and yet he leans in again for a kiss and a mumble.]
