I've actually been curious to try them. My favorite edible insect is rice crickets, but I'm always interested in trying new foods.

I'm sad I missed that.
I doubt it would be too difficult to get a supply of rice crickets. They're one of the more commonly eaten insects, and very healthy. They even help promote good digestion.
