[Not as such, even if Kurama hadn't watched him playing with Ursula. He gestures towards where his phone sits on the bar in silent hint before stepping onto the pad and starting the machine.]
[He sets his phone down next to Kurama's and steps onto the other pad. He'll let his friend pick the song...he's confident in his abilities no matter what ends up set.]
[The steps are hard but not too hard for the two of them. It's the song itself that might make Akechi regret letting an admitted demon and a confirmed troll pick their music.]
I don't believe we're the first to be trapped into this sick game, Akechi-san. And I think the last time ended with a murderer walking away.
[...Well...it's not like this wasn't already embarrassing? He's rocking it without even trying, though his movements are much less flashy than they were the last time.]
I think you've earned the right to call my by my given name by this point, Shuuichi-san.
I agree, however. Meridies-san discovered a letter written by a culprit, indicating they had already been through one trial before. It was addressed to their fellow captives, but the fold of the paper indicated that it had been left for some time.
[Kurama doesn't look to be putting out too much effort, either. He tosses in a little flourish here and there but he's mostly focused on making the score and talking to the other detective.
The offer makes him smile for a moment, quietly warm.]
...Goro-kun, then.
When you say a long time, do you think two months may sound an appropriate length? If I'm correct, this last game ended in early September.
That...is not good. According to the magazines I've looked at, it may currently be November. I was thinking about the last trial, and what might happen...
A date and time came to mind without warning. September 9th, 2017, at 1:45am. I checked and that was very early on a Saturday morning. Possibly the result of a long-running investigation and trial? If that was the last game to take place here, why are we the first to find the note?

Date: 2017-12-09 04:10 am (UTC)No. It appeared as if it had been folded over for much longer than that.
