It's the name of a figure in a famous painting of a female ghost, and Marla says this particular species is probably ghost type. I'm not quite sure how a ghost hatches from an egg, but...
Probably not. It might be safest to assume that 'ghost' in that world applies to anything with similar properties, even if it's an actually physical being.
That's what I've been doing with Morrigan and Mao. I think I'll leave Yaeki behind, too. I don't know enough about what she can do to be sure if she'll be helpful or just in danger.
